Privacy
This is a band website. We don't have accounts, a shop, or a mailing list, so there's very little to tell — but here it is.
Analytics
If you agree to it, we use Google Analytics to get a rough sense of which songs and shows people actually read. It sets cookies in your browser and reports things like the pages you visited, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you used.
Nothing loads until you accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The site behaves identically either way — declining costs you nothing.
The data goes to Google and is handled under their privacy policy. We only ever look at it in aggregate. We don't sell it, share it or try to work out who you are.
Your choice
Embedded video
The video section embeds players from YouTube. Those only load once you press play on a video, and from that point YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's policy. Thumbnails are served from Google without cookies.
If you email us at info@kessel.co.nz we'll have whatever you put in the email. We keep it so we can reply, and we don't add you to anything.
Questions
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. In practice that will usually be nothing beyond an email thread. Get in touch and we'll sort it out.
