We were very excited to be playing a spot at our very own Wanganui Musicians Club. The club runs on the first Friday of every month and is well worth a visit to check out a great range of diverse talent from all over New Zealand.
Unfortunately for the club, the other band on the bill, ‘The Bollands’, were unable to attend due to illness which, in a turn of good luck for Kessel, meant that we were able to play our full show with the omission of just one song. It was also a great opportunity for us to unleash our new song, ‘Next High’ in front of a very enthusiastic and supportive crowd.
There was a lot of dancing and great feedback from those that attended and we had a great time playing an extended set. You could almost say we saved rock n roll, almost…
